Created fiber optic communications from DCS to 35kV HV substation using IEEE C37.118 messaging protocol and configured SEL digital fault recording devices to set alerts tailored to filter out signal noise and only trigger upon custom patterns. Generated over $600k in saved production value within a business-crucial location.
